Dunwich Hills

Following the trails of Dr Van Meter, Robin Stephens, forensic of Miskatonic University ended in a small village deep in the Dunwich Hills. Dr. Van Meter had been dealing with something that lives in the dark hills. Thats for sure. She didnt have any doubt now. And she didnt have any doubt that "that Something" wasnt from this earth.
The corpse she found by the river that afternoon, wasnt human or animal. At least not an animal from this planet. Dr Van Meter has been experimenting with something and the experiment didnt get sucessful. It was something humanoid, with some resemblances to a pterodactyl, with huge wings, a head like a bird... and a terrible smell that just cant be caused by the rotten corpse.
The hutch where the villagers said she could find Dr. Van Meter was empty. Not a single track of where he could had gone. Just a dirty old book called the Necronomicon.
Then she feel like somebody or something was watching her. The village was now shut. Not a single sound. But something was watching here. And that something was very near. She feel fear. Fear with all the letters. The fear of something that you dont even know what is it.
Took his car and drived out of the village. A chilling shout teared the night in two. Then she sawin the rear-view mirror several dark sillouttes in the dark sky... flying around the village.
Then her toughts dissapeared and she could only think in pushing the limits of her engine
